Emily BeckerMy varied interests are best reflected through my skills: art, writing, and photography. I can find an area of interest in almost everything, and take that as inspiration for my creative media.
I attended NYU as a music business wannabe and tepid fine artist, but elected to temporarily leave higher education in pursuit of real world experience and a more narrowed focus in 2014. After a year of real world experience interning in various parts of the music business, expanding my photography portfolio, and building up a music blog, I went back to school for illustration at Parsons, and graduated from The New School with a degree in creative entrepreneurship. I currently work as the in-house designer for B2B Network Stores and B2B Merch, and offer freelance and handicraft work through Etsy and social media. I have previously worked on projects for Sigue Nadando Productions, Kitu Life, The Boomer Esiason Foundation, 6/8 Music, The Music Obsession, NYU's Third North Residence Hall, The Comedy Zone, and The Catalyst Publicity Group. My work has also been featured by Alt Press, Buzzfeed, and Rock Sound magazine. |
