Just listened through the full album on youtube and I was really into it. There's a slight dichotomy on the album between fast and slow, electronic and straight up rock, sweet and venomous, and it works to the band's advantage. Kellin's voice sounds fan-fucking-tastic, and extremely young, which makes the whole album feel fresh.
Standout track: "Alone" featuring MGK
My only complaint is the intro to the track Congratulations, which sets the track up to be shtick-y, which it is, unfortunately. It's too self celebrating and self referential in a way that detracts from what could have been an interesting collaboration between the band and Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire.
Otherwise, a solid album worth listening to.
